i finally broke down and bought a wheel barrel.  holy crap, WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?!  I don't have room for it in the garage, so it sits outside, on the side of the house.  After 2 years of being outside, it's still in awesome condition. 

again, TOTALLY WORTH THE PURCHASE PRICE!
